City Nature Challenge 2023 Saskatoon and Area CNC YXE 2023

Join us for the 2023 City Nature Challenge in Saskatoon and Area! Cities around the world will be collaborating to share observations of nature. Download the free iNaturalist app, and find any wild plant, animal, or other evidence of life in your city. Take a picture or record a sound and share your observations on iNaturalist or your city's chosen platform. Remember, if it's planted or taken care of by people, it's not wild. Mark it as captive/cultivated! The event runs from April 28 to May 1, 2023. Let's celebrate nature together and be the voice for nature. For more information, visit friendsareas.ca. Take part in the launch of “Our Forest Returns Saskatoon” – a campaign to kickstart the amazing wonders of winter in the Richard St. Barbe Baker Afforestation Area and out at George Genereux Urban Regional Park.
