 500 kg removed today May 7, 2023 joining in with the Meewasin 2023 Clean up as a start to the clean up! 

How much more will there be? How will it get removed from a forest? 

We need your help. We need volunteers to help us clean up this mess! 

We need your help to come up with new and innovative ways to remove the garbage from the parking lots and the forests Are you someone who likes to take action on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 15 Life on Land? Are you someone who likes to take action locally for the United Nations Decade on Ecosystem Restoration runs from 2021 to 2030? 

We need your help to keep our urban regional park forests clean and beautiful. Join us in our efforts to remove the garbage and keep our park pristine."

The Friends of the Saskatoon Afforestation Areas Inc. non profit environmental charity celebrates WintercityYXE - Saskatoon's Winter Strategy and thanks the City of Saskatoon for approving the Winter Animation Fund . As recipients of the "Take It Outside" Grant, the Friends of the Saskatoon Afforestation Areas Inc. announce their programming to enhance being "Outside Safely."  The Take It Outside Grant Program was created in 2020 to support organizations hosting COVID-19 safe outdoor activities.
