RESHEDULING

Due to unforeseen circumstances, we have decided to reschedule the event to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all participants, including the dog mushers, dogs, volunteers, and yourselves. Rescheduling to March 30 allows us to steer clear of the extreme cold weather warnings accompanying the polar vortex, ensuring a more pleasant experience for everyone involved. With Easter falling early in March this year, we anticipate better weather conditions with snow, and without the risk of hypothermia or frostbite. We appreciate your understanding and flexibility in this matter. Your safety and enjoyment are our top priorities, and we believe that this adjustment will lead to an amazing and comfortable experience for all.

What to Do if You Haven't Registered:

If you haven't registered but plan to attend you can email us friendsafforestation AT gmail.com with your intent to attend.

In the event that we do not retain the required 3 to 5 inches of snow for the dog sledding activity, the event may be subject to change to a walking tour.

We look forward to celebrating winter in Saskatoon with you, whether it's by gliding through the trails with the dog sleds or strolling along the forest path with a winter interpretive tour. It may be a day filled with joy, adventure, and the magic of winter.
