Afforestation Area Jane's Walk Festival

Join the Afforestation Area Jane's Walk Festival, hosted by Friends of the Saskatoon Afforestation Areas Inc., on May 3rd, 4th, and 5th from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm each evening. The first and last day feature walks at Richard St. Barbe Baker Afforestation Area (RSBBAA), while May 4th's walk is at George Genereux Urban Regional Park (GGURP).

The GGURP event promises an exploration of urban planning and the historical fabric of the park, paying homage to influential figures like George Genereux. Led by notable figures and childhood comrades, participants will unravel narratives shaping the park and the city, reflecting on community commitment.

Meanwhile, the RSBBAA walk delves into mindful city development, discussing immediate plans and investments like the Green Networks Natural Infrastructure Project. Both walks offer insights into Saskatoon's landscape heritage and empower citizens to advocate for their environment. Wear appropriate attire and join us in celebrating and understanding our city's green spaces.
