Join us at the Richard St. Barbe Baker Afforestation Areas on Saturday, June 1, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, for the ParticipACTION Community Challenge, where everyone is encouraged to take part, whether at this event or anywhere in Saskatoon! Let's get active together! Encourage Saskatoon to get active throughout the month of June!

On this auspicious day, we'll be celebrating and acknowledging several noteworthy occasions:

1️⃣ Intergenerational Day: Let's come together to honor the bonds between generations, fostering connections and understanding.

2️⃣ International Children's Day: Celebrate the joy, innocence, and potential of our youngest community members.

3️⃣ National Trails Day: Embrace the beauty of nature and the importance of trails for recreation and well-being.

4️⃣ World Hypoparathyroidism Awareness: Raise awareness about this condition and show support for those affected.

5️⃣ Arbor Week: Recognize the significance of trees and their vital role in sustaining life.

The highlight of our event will be a thrilling trail-walking experience suitable for all ages and abilities. Join us as we embark on a journey along the scenic trails of the Richard St. Barbe Baker Afforestation Areas, symbolizing unity and connection between generations.

One Path, Many Generations: As we traverse the trails together, we'll bridge the gap between young and old, sharing stories, wisdom, and laughter along the way.

Education and Awareness: Throughout the walk, we'll raise awareness about the importance of staying active, connected to nature, and supporting health and wellness in our community.

Take part in the launch of “Our Forest Returns Saskatoon” – a campaign to kickstart the amazing wonders of winter in the Richard St. Barbe Baker Afforestation Area and out at George Genereux Urban Regional Park.
