At Friends of the Saskatoon Afforestation Areas, we're passionate about connecting communities through our "Come to Nature, Come to Live" events. 🌳👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Join us as we bring schools, classrooms, families, and youth groups closer to nature through activities like nature hikes, pond-dipping, bird watching, and binocular exploration. 🦋 However, to sustain and expand these initiatives, we need your support to enhance our educational resources and outdoor equipment. Nature is calling—will you answer? 🌍💫

Winning the Community Challenge capacity-building prize would greatly help us acquire essential supplies like Little John rentals, bus rentals, binoculars, field guides, and educational materials. 🚶‍♂️🌿 This investment will enrich our programs, fostering deeper connections with nature and inspiring environmental stewardship among all participants. Take part in the launch of “Our Forest Returns Saskatoon” – a campaign to kickstart the amazing wonders of winter in the Richard St. Barbe Baker Afforestation Area and out at George Genereux Urban Regional Park.
